How to check cryptocurrency transaction status on Blockchain

10/02/2022

When depositing or withdrawing cryptocurrency,, sometimes users will have a successful withdrawal but still have not received the coin/token. In this case, the user needs to check the transaction status on the Blockchain by using the transaction ID (TXID, TxHash). The following is instructions on how to check transactions on each specific network.

Ethereum (ERC20) và Binance Smart Chain (BEP20)

Note: Withdrawal and deposit status on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) networks are very similar. Refer to the screenshot below to see how to check the transaction status on both of these networks.

  • If the status is "Fail", the transaction failed.

Contact with people who send users the transaction or the platform that made the withdrawal request. The recipient or the platform that is depositing the funds cannot assist the user in this situation.

Example: If the user is depositing money into Nami and the transaction status shows as “Failed” on the Blockchain, contact the platform that made the withdrawal. If the user is withdrawing from Nami and the transaction fails, contact Nami customer support for assistance.

  • If the status is "Dropped & Replaced", then this transaction has been replaced by a new transaction with higher gas fees due to network congestion.

Contact the withdrawing platform or the people who send users the transaction for the new TxID.

  • If the status is "Success" then the transaction is complete.

Please check the money has reached the recipient's account or not. If user are depositing money into Nami and the Blockchain status is showing “Success” but the money has not been deposited into user account, please contact Nami customer support for assistance.

Bitcoin Network

If the transaction is not fully confirmed on the Bitcoin Blockchain, Please check the minimum number of confirmations required by the blockchain (Please note that the number of confirmations required may vary).

Once the transaction is fully confirmed, the user can check the amount in the recipient's account or the platform that is depositing.

TRON (TRC20)

If the transaction status is “Confirmed” but the result is “Fail”, it means that the transaction has been completed, but the system cannot credit this amount to the recipient's address. Please contact the sender or the platform from which the user withdraws for assistance.

If the transaction status is “Confirm” and the result shows “Success”, it means the transaction was successful. The user can check if the money has reached the recipient's account or the platform the user is depositing on.

KardiaChain (KRC20)

If the status "Success" means the transaction was successful. Please check if the money has reached the recipient's account or not. If users are depositing money into Nami and the Blockchain status is showing “Success” but the money has not been deposited into the user account, please contact Nami customer support for assistance.

If the Failed state means that the transaction was aborted due to the network node's congestion, proceed with the transaction again.

If the Pending status means that the transaction is in a state of pending approval by the Blockchains, the user should wait until it is completed.
